Company History and the Entrepreneur
Let me introduce myself, my name is Kasey and I am the sole creater of Weaim2pleez. To give you a brief history of myself I am a 32 year old male living currently around St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from college in 1999 with a double B.A. degree in accounting and business administration. After college, I worked part-time for an antique dealer doing online auction work. About 6 months into that I started on my own selling on eBay for others and soon expanded into selling retail goods and consignment items as well. I then created Weaim2pleez Auctions in December of 2000. As of then I have been a full time eBay Powerseller selling to hundreds of people worldwide with millions of potential buyers! I was born with cystic fibrosis, a lung disease and diagnosed at age 5. Around 2001 I had to go on oxygen full time as my lungs worsened. I continued to do the ebay business for a couple years while I was on oxygen but then I got to the point in early 2003 where I simply was in the hospital too much fighting infections in my lungs and got out of breath just walking to my vehicle that I had to put my business on hold. In April of 2004 my family moved to the St. Louis area and I waited for a double lung transplant. On June 10, 2004 I had a bilateral lung transplant and have been rehabbing and recovering ever since. It has definitely been a life changing event to have good lungs like never before. Although the transplant presents new challenges and new issues in regards to my health it is definitely better than not being able to breath.
